On March 26th, the Prime Minister’s order establishing a Bureaucracy Reduction Expert Committee came into effect. The task force will be led by Raivis Kronbergs, Director of the State Chancellery, with Aigars Rostovskis, co-founder of LaSER and President of the Latvian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, appointed as Deputy Chair. Professor Daunis Auers, Director of LaSER, has also been appointed as a member of the Expert Committee.
The Expert Committee is mandated to prepare proposals for the Cabinet of Ministers, outlining both short- and long-term measures to reduce administrative burden and bureaucracy.
